Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using Song Pitch, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What Song Pitch Does

Song Pitch is a software product — a Chrome browser extension and companion web app, sold as a SaaS subscription. It does not provide marketing, promotion, submission, or consulting services performed on your behalf; it is a self-service productivity tool that helps musicians:

• Store artist profile information.
• Auto-fill submission forms on supported platforms.
• Generate and improve pitch texts using AI.
• Track submissions, deadlines, and results.
• Manage release campaigns.

3. What Song Pitch Does NOT Do

• Song Pitch does NOT guarantee playlist placements, streams, or any specific results.
• Song Pitch does NOT automatically submit music on your behalf. You always press the final submit button yourself.
• Song Pitch does NOT guarantee responses from curators or platforms.
• Song Pitch does NOT bypass any platform's terms of service or submission rules.

4. Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of your artist profile data.
• You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated pitch texts before submitting them.
• You must comply with each platform's own terms of service when submitting music.
• You must not use Song Pitch for spam, mass automated submissions, or any abusive purpose.
• You are responsible for staying signed in so your data can sync to our cloud backend. Data that is only stored locally (not signed in, or offline before a sync completes) is not backed up and will be lost if you remove or reset the extension.

5. Accounts and Plans

• Free: Limited features, no payment required.
• Pro ($5/month): Extended features, billed monthly.
• You can cancel Pro at any time. Features remain active until the end of your billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@songpitch.app.

6. AI Features

• AI-generated texts are suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing and editing them before use.
• AI outputs may not be perfect. Song Pitch is not liable for the content of AI-generated pitches.
• AI actions are subject to monthly limits based on your plan.
• Unused AI actions do not roll over to the next month.

7. Intellectual Property

• You own all content you create using Song Pitch (profiles, pitches, submissions).
• Song Pitch owns the extension code, website, and brand.
• You grant Song Pitch a limited license to process your data for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

Song Pitch is provided "as is." We are not liable for:

• Lost submissions or data — especially data that was never synced to our cloud backend because you were not signed in, or was created offline before a sync could complete. Sign in and stay signed in to keep your data backed up; you can also use the export feature as an additional backup.
• Platform changes that break auto-fill functionality.
• Rejected submissions or negative responses from curators.
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to Service

We may modify features, pricing, or these terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days in advance.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, use the service for spam, or engage in abusive behavior. You can delete your account at any time by contacting support.
