1. What We Collect

When you use Song Pitch, we may collect:

• Account information: email address, name (if you sign up via Google).
• Artist profile data: artist name, genre, bio, links, track information — data you enter in the extension.
• Submission data: which platforms you submit to, statuses, deadlines, notes.
• AI usage data: number of AI actions used, type of action (we do NOT store the full text of your pitches on our servers longer than needed to process the request).
• Technical data: browser type, extension version, error logs for debugging.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the Song Pitch service (auto-fill, tracking, AI features).
• To sync your data between devices.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To send you notifications you opted into (deadlines, free credits).
• To improve the product based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.

3. What We Do NOT Do

• We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties.
• We do NOT share your artist profiles, pitches, or submission data with anyone.
• We do NOT track your browsing history outside of supported platforms.
• We do NOT use your data for advertising.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored in two places:

• Locally in your Chrome browser (chrome.storage).
• On our backend (Supabase, hosted in the EU/US) — only if you create an account and sign in.

You can use Song Pitch without an account. In that case, all data stays local in your browser.

5. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI pitch generation (your artist data is sent to generate pitches; we do not store AI inputs/outputs beyond the session).
• LemonSqueezy — payment processing.
• Brevo — email notifications (only if you opt in).

6. Your Rights

You can at any time:

• Export your data (Pro feature).
• Delete your account and all associated data by contacting support@songpitch.app.
• Disable email notifications in settings.
• Uninstall the extension — local data is deleted automatically.

7. Cookies & Analytics

The Song Pitch website uses essential cookies for authentication, and Google Analytics to understand site traffic and improve the product. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect anonymized usage data (pages visited, approximate location, device type). You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

8. Children

Song Pitch is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
